The ITRA National League Continental Finals bring together qualified runners from National Leagues across a continent for a shared international competition.
Throughout the season, runners compete in National League races and build their position in their country ranking. The Continental Finals create the next level of competition, giving leading athletes the opportunity to progress from their national ranking to a continental start line. Each Final brings together qualified runners across Overall and Age Group categories, creating an international competition that recognises performance across generations.
European Final
The ITRA National League European Final is the first Continental Final to be introduced.
The inaugural edition will take place on 17 October 2026 in Castanheira de Pera, Portugal, as part of UTAX - Ultra Trail Aldeias do Xisto.
Qualified runners from National Leagues across Europe will compete on the same course, with dedicated European Final rankings for Overall and Age Group categories.
The European Final marks a new step in the development of the ITRA National League, connecting national competition with an international racing opportunity.
